  1. If you think a different brand of air filter is going to change the dyno results you are pretty gullible

  2. I’ve never found dust passing through my K&N in the intake hose. But I make sure my filter is oiled properly. If it looks lite red add sum more. If you have a MAF sensor spray and let the filter set for a couple hours so all the fibers will absorb the oil spray

  3. I’m curious what your first language is. Guessing Spanish based on your slight mispronunciation and accent of English words.

  4. Omg where is the BMC? i heard they are the best performance air filers they cost alot more too, we need you to test them asap

  5. Just curious, for my car, a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid I was thinking of going to the K&N just for the long life and cleanability but I can only find a High Flow version of the K&N for it. Do you have any ideas or comparability of it to either the select or performance versions?

  6. The makers say change air filter after 12000 miles which is one year for most, and the car maker says change every 20,000 to 25,000 miles which is two years. Not 6 months. I drive my Honda 4000 miles a year so my standard filter is in 4 years and still looks clean and white.

  7. Been using a k@n filter on my truck since new in 2017 and have 168k miles on the original filter I have been happy with it and the intake is clean. I go off-roading a lot in the desert so it’s lived up to being good enough

  8. You guys realize K&N owns AEM and Airaid ! All the filters are made by K&N side by side at the same factory. I Worked at K&N for 9 years in R&D

  9. I appreciated this scientific approach and the different categories. You earned a subscriber.

  10. Have you ever thought about the more expensive longest lasting car air filters help save the earth as in going to landfills and garbage dumps? You would have probally gotten more views if your title desribed how K&N air filters also help save the earth.

  11. I use the k&n with an open cell sweater ( cone type) works great. Mafs stays looking brand new

  12. The same test after washing and oiling according to the instructions would be interesting.
I would also have been interested in the original paper filter as a comparison.

  13. So you guys didn’t show what the stock filtration should be as a baseline. Maybe the AEM is worth it if it performs as good or better than stock at filtration.

  14. Just remember any car NA with a MAF sensor, won’t allow the parameters to shoot high in HP from a filter

  15. You don’t need them till bigger turbo comes in. Just use the oem paper filter and don’t fuck up your engine.

  16. A less restrictive filter will make a bit more power but let more dirt in. And have you ever tried to WASH a K&N filter? It’s a mess and a disaster.

  17. Aem in my daily drivers, KN high flow in my performance cars as there barely driven much. Is the best scenario

  18. Can you compare the filtration of these vs oem? Im curious how much better it filters vs these.

  20. Why do people not beleive KNN engine air filter’s increased boost? I have been using them for 30 years and they make a significant gain in HP and drop in 0 to 60 Miles time.

  21. You can try also BMC ans Sprint filter! From my research between AEM, K&N, BMC and Sprint filter i found that the Sprint filter is best choose but I will be more satisfied after your test! Thanks You! My car is Maserati Ghibli and the filters are not cheap! 😌

  22. Great video! K&N just released a new ‘K&N Advantage’ line with disposable paper filters (not the oiled/dry select reusable ones). Maybe you guys can compare that one for next time!

  23. AEM is fine for replacing the stock filter if you’re expecting stock filtration and stock performance. Major benefit over stock filter as far as convenience and reusability goes, and no need to oil.

  24. I have a K&N. But the only advantages are things that would look even better with no filter at all. And if it’s not filtering well, that’s an awful tradoff? So this seems terrible.

  25. If I’m going to drop $60,000 on a car, the last thing I’m gonna do is put in an air filter that doesn’t filter out as much particulate as possible. That rules out ALL performance air filters.

  26. I drove my car without an air filter for a couple of days as I forgot to put a new one in. It felt faster, lol

  27. So then I’m honestly feeling pretty good about my Spectre performance filter purchase. Filters a better than K&N without giving up much flow. 🤷‍♂️

  28. China continues to rip off everyone while not innovating for themselves. Pffft..even worse, theur knock offs are usually crap quality and highly toxic or dangerous by catastrophic failures
