  1. With that ceramic detailer how do you take care of your towel after using as a drying aid. I have ruined towels that are now hydrophobic from using a ceramic drying aid

  2. You mean to tell me lol?. Really though, Ive bought over $2000 worth of detail stuff and I donā€™t own a detail business, just for personal use. Youā€™re right about all the confusion these suppliers. Thereā€™s just too much info out there. Way to keep it simplešŸ‘Š!

  3. A gallon of superclean is like ten bucks and works on everything. Curious about PS Express Interior cleaner or OP Clean?. Have had no issues with superclean, safer?

  4. facts! its comical to see people with a bunch of different products that essentially do the same thing.

  5. šŸ˜… I believe that the drying aid clog the drying towel and considering their hydrophobic specificity washing them does not solve the broblem,, am I wrong ?

  6. What about using All Clean by DIY for your APC? Dilute 1:15 for everything and 1:30 for interior. So it’s more cost effective and you can get rid of 1 chemical.

  7. Well dave, many thanks for your very enjoyable and informative video, also love your detailing business amazon products list very useful and i love the keep it simple mantra however detailing life isn’t quite so simple and you do need a few more chemicals than just your mega 5 for various situations like higher ph foam solutions, black trim products, window cleaner, chrome polisher, compound Polish and finishing Polish, bug remover, waterpots remover, rust decontamination, etc

  8. Hey Bro, I think you ate doing amazing, I would like to replicate what you do in Mexico, would you be open to mentor me on that? I can travel to your location

  9. What are your thoughts on superior products? Iā€™m trying to get momentum cleaning cars and I just need a bundle of products that are relatively cheap but every effective

  10. I was wondering if you ever thought about expanding your services to boats and semi trucks just an idea. Love the videos šŸ‘

  11. I agree with your list. šŸ‘šŸ½ Simplicity is key to efficiency. However on the bonuses, i would prefer watermark/mineral deposit remover over the leather conditioner.

  12. Thank you Dave for simplifying things. I’m just a detail hobbyist for my own truck and wife’s car.

  13. Meth would have to be one of my 5 products. It is the only thing that keeps me going in this soul-sucking job.

  14. Great video for sure Iā€™m going to have to do this for my mobile detailing rig.. this is especially good for mobile detailers because the limited space we have in our rigs. However one thing I may always keep is geyon tire cleaner or Adamā€™s wheel and tire cleaner. I donā€™t mind using apcā€™s on them but I love love LOVE when you spray them and they turn a different color to indicate that itā€™s grabbing the dirt.

  15. Oweners pride not safe for after market wheels their products are awsome for sure the waterspot remover is awsome 3d stuff is junk cg is better then 3d

  16. You mean I don’t need windshield wiper blade dressing, antennae polish and gas-cap ceramic sealant!?!

J/K! Great info. I do find a couple of other chemicals can speed things up (for me at least): wheel cleaner (been using P&S brake buster and like that for the most part but want to give Dark Fury a try), and P&S Bug Off, driving home from Tahoe it seems I almost always run into "clouds" of bugs on I-5 and those things can be stubborn to clean if I can’t wash my jeep quick enough!

  17. Lol no iron remover, no wheel cleaner, no wheel acid, no interior dressings, no glass cleaner, no rinse less wash.

  18. I donā€™t think most people understand ā€œneedā€.

I mean, chemical-wise, you donā€™t ā€œneedā€ anything more than a bottle of Dawn dish soap. Diluted properly, it pretty much covers everything you ā€œneedā€ it to. Dawn not your thing? Then grab a gallon of rinseless wash and it will be a better experience than just Dawn.

You donā€™t need a foam cannon or pressure washer or iron remover or tire dressing or blah blah blahā€™s. Theyā€™re ā€œnice to havesā€ but definitely not ā€œneedsā€.

    List of actual needs:
    Bucket
    Towels
    Hose
    Sprayer
    Vacuum
    Rinseless wash
    APC

Thatā€™s it. No, you donā€™t need glass cleaner or extractors or drill brushes or spray waxes.

Detailing is actually very simple. A lot of people complicate it unnecessarily.
