Anyone looking to buy edge guards BUY THESE, NOT THE ONES AT OREILLYS AND AUTOZONE. I bought those with 3m glue on them, the strip started pealing away and turning yellow, when I tried to take them off it ripped large chunks of my paint off and left a line of dirty and super glue mixed together
Honestly ruined my fucking car, im gonna gett these for now until I can save up for a paint correction

Does the brand matter? If it looks the same? This one is a better deal, that is all!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the side of my doors getting chipped etc or, if it does, just not noticeable enough. Don’t get these extra layers of protection like a screen protector for your phone. If you get chipped, the fix is easy enough vs getting edge guards??

Is there any rusty after using it?
Will the water store inside it and cause rusting to the door ? I got one and when it rains I can see some water going inside it so will it cause any rusting as water is storing there

What about removal of this rubber strip? Doesn’t the metal clip damage the car paint while removing.
I would’ve covered the hammer with a nice thick cloth before hammering😊

Good install! The product looks nice like it will have good follow through meeting its claims and purpose. Aslo, it looks like it came from the factory and is aesthetically pleasing and matches the car well. Can you please do a update? Has water gotten into the edge guards? Mold? Any moisture at all?

Getting it because I just got myself a Kia Proceed 3d hatchback and the doors are enormous.. Like.. huuuge. It’s used and already the doors have scratches and bumps on them from previous owners XD

Better off with the clear . The clear does not notice that it’s on the door . The black looks terrible in my opinion.

Edge guards do work but after a few months tends to come off or leave sticky/tacky residue on the car.
