Thanks to Ebay Motors for sponsoring this video. Go over to http://bit.ly/EbayMotorsDonut to start guessing what your pick for the next MoneyPit is.

Last time we took the Money Pit Miata to the dyno we kinda realized our fuel system needed upgrading. So today we are changing all things fuel AND hopefully it’s worth our time. AND hopefully I don’t get covered in fuel … that stuff is not a good time!

Money Pit is where you get to learn about cars as we work on them. Each ep we’ll breakdown how each component works and then we’ll upgrade it. Join us in our journey to build cool cars, learn about them, and drive the crap out of them!

Some of our best videos ever are coming out soon, stay tuned so you won’t miss a thing!

  1. Looking back on the old miata videos it’s kinda a shame, they should have done cams with shim under bucket to get rid of those shit hydraulic lifters and also a proper ecu and built motor

  2. The stock Miata manifold didn’t look too restricted…didn’t look like a bottleneck for power

  3. I have a really hard time taking a Mazda guy serious, Mazda is the Kia reo equivalent to street racing, a try hard car that just can’t….

  4. I was always wondered in videos like this when they start talking about needing extra bits, in this case vacuum, to the new parts amd needing a guage and needing to set the regulator to exactly 43.5. Is this information they just know or does it come with whatever package of parts they buy

  5. Im trying to learn stuff about engine mods and how they affect cars in general. I was planning on waiting to get into a project car because im 17. But then i happened to stubble across a 99′ GS300 with a 2jz ge vvti na. But the previous video i watched was when he put a header in the miata and it made 107 hp. 260 is wild lol

  6. You guys should repeat the whole process and do it for progressively bigger engines 4cl→6cyl→8cly→ maybe v10, but honestly v8 is probably the end of average. prices like a sbc and a import v8 then like bbc and and another import v8 being worth each hp

  7. Me: “You can’t make a country song about a camo hat!”

James “Pop up muhfuckin headlights” Pumphery: Hold my NoS

  8. I just paid off my 2020 Impreza. Maybe I should go for this sort of upgrade now. The CVT transmission often gets hung up in the high RPM when I get off a heavy accelerator push.

  9. lol I’m running the cheapest pump and injectors I could find I have a lean code and it’s slow af

  10. you guys need to invest in your own Dyno and actually test these cars for each mod you do to see if there was any difference and how impactful it was or maybe even detrimental ?

  11. dont act so unsure and insecure in the process you arent that dopey adn it doesnt help people less sure of themselves. was browsing channels to pick for parts but jsut thought id mention. might help more

  12. You need to uptimize your intake. The air filter is ina position which is restricted and sucks all the warm air from the engine bay.

  13. The march the band plays is called "The Liberty Bell" by John Phillip Sousa. I recently discovered it when playing with my community band this year. It’s become one of my absolute favorite marches! Anyway, carry on!
