  1. I figured out the sun visor method but needed to make sure i am not making a mistake. Safe to say I was satisfied with this video 👍

  2. And that the aluminum side goes on the inside right? That seems like an obvious part that wasn’t mentioned

  3. Ya doesn’t work for every car, too small for my windshield and nothing to hold it up, waste of money 👎

  4. So, physics would suggest that installing the sun shield on the outside of the car would be far more effective. The glass absorbing the sun is what makes the car hotter. Putting the sun shade on the outside stops the UV rays from damaging the plastics, vinyls, carpets, etc AND keeps the car cooler.

  5. Still didn’t say which side faces out …. no he didn’t mention it but he puts the decorated side facing out…. jeez lol

  6. Thanks for this. Is it illegal to use the first one but using the other side to reflect sun? I find it more effective than using the picture side.

  7. My collapsible one didn’t work as in the video. Half of it hung down. They should make them with a Velcro strip to attach to.

  8. The sunshades that go from one end of the windscreen to the other (accordion) are great at first, after putting them up for a couple of weeks, they constantly fall!
And I’ve bought cheap and expensive ones. Most recently $31AU. The most expensive one there.
Tried them in a sedan and an SUV, all hopeless!
Oh they are great at first, but once you start handling them and placing them up then taking them down, plus the sun hitting, they are simply hopeless. The creases also disappear after a few weeks.
Can’t anyone design them so they don’t fall? I shouldn’t have to even make suggestions as to how to secure them. Add some Velcro and separate plastic suction attachments to put on either side of window to which a string keeps them in place, that is what I’ve had to do.
The designers certainly didn’t win any prizes, anyone would think we lived in the Stone Age. 😅

  9. Thank you so much I felt like a complete idiot trying to put it up. I don’t know why it hadn’t occurred to me to hold it in place with the sun visors 😭😭

  10. my friend has one that is very long but the width is a bit short and no visors!!! i had to use the straps to hold onto the visors latch!

  11. Qll these months I’ve been putting the sun shade backwards. I always though the aluminum was to face outward. Smh. Now I know.

  12. I thought I bought the wrong size, as it had soo much slack but now I see it’s normal for sides to dangle

  13. i was trying to figure out why mine wouldn’t stay but my sun shades don’t go anywhere close to far back enough to keep it in place. Camaro feels bad man. Oh well I guess I’m stuck with 70-80% of my window being covered at all times

  14. I still have great difficulty installing my sun shade in my truck. The rear view mirror just always seems to be in the way. Taking it out is also a pain. I’m afraid I’m going to rip my mirror off.

  15. Ty they need to add this video to all Windshield Sun Shade sold on Amazon..mine kept falling..i didnt put the sun visors behind it

  16. 😂 I was actually tucking it in between the glass and the top part of your vehicle hahaha… But I knew I was doing something wrong so I decided to look it up. Glad I did

  17. As others have said, I also feel stupid for having to look this up but to be completely honest I was doing it exactly like in the video and it’s still not staying up 😂

Maybe my car is defective LOL

  18. I keep reading to put the reflective side out. So the shiny. Aluminum, whatever, reflective surfaces faces outside the car, if you have a design, the design faces in. Also to help visualize to understand. Think of it like a burrito or hot pocket in a pocket sleeve. If you put the hot pocket in the sleeve. The reflective side is cooking the burrito. So reflective side out so we don’t heat up and cook our interior.

  19. What I don’t understand is why the picture on the instructions shows the accordion visor being flat against the windshield… that’s why I had to watch this video bc yeah it’s not supposed to be flat smh
