I guess you have to remove tension from the belt and re-tension it after ?

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE-MARK THE TENSIONER BOLT BEFORE YOU MESS WITH IT!!!!
I didn’t and no matter how little or much I tightened it, it would squeak so bad or be to lose. Mark your shit and if it’s an old belt consider replacing it 👍

Yes I also snapped off my radiator nipple on the neck…..
I have the top two bolts off and the tensioner thingy but the belt isn’t any looser just trying to under how that works for the belt
I forgot to unhook the battery before unhooking the alternator with the keys out of the car.. Am I 🤬’d?
