Those are some terrible times. Not sure what’s going on but my s197 5.0 6m on 235 snow tires, unprepped street surface, runs 8.2@92. My buddies 18 runs 8.0@87 with street tires on a prepped drag strip. Yall need some work. Not a very creditable comparison.
Once yall add more power, the difference in those tires will become way more pronounced

Track conditions definitely can play a big factor. As a radial guy I know that well. And in the long run beadlocks will be better. Once power is really added.
