WeatherTech vs Husky – Floor Mats Reviews Part 1
I am comparing weather mats from WeatherTech and two models from Husky. These are from my 2016 F150, but you can extrapolate this information for any vehicle.

#Husky #Weathertech #F150ProductReviews
I have had weathertech in another vehicle and they held up really well, but I did not like the feel of them under my feet. When looking into Husky liners for my new truck, I discovered that the front piece comes in 3 pieces(over the hump for front bench) as the weathertech is a single piece. Can you speak to the fitment and longevity of the three piece liner?
Anything Husky is excellent always!
American made production is key…
Fits my f150 like a hand in a glove and, my truck has vinyl flooring. The husky product doesn’t scratch and doesn’t move around.
I bought the husky weatherbeater for my. 24 civic and the fit and finish sucks. Think I’m gonna try the new weather techs
None of them does not cover the carpet to plastic
My wife has weathertech in her Highlander and they do develop a gap on the sides after a few years. I put husky weatherbeaters in my 18 Tacoma and they look great but I have a clutch and the outside of my left foot rubs the mat when changing gears. I think I’m going to contact Husky because the part of the mat that covers where you rest your left foot isn’t molded as tight to the floor pan as it could/should be because I can push in and feel over a half inch of space underneath which is why my foot rubs it. They do protect the carpet but it gets annoying. I have xact contours in my 05 Tacoma with automatic trans and no complaints. Also fits tighter over the left foot rest but it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t have a clutch. I hope Husky will correct the issue but we’ll see.
It seemed by your comments that you liked the weathertech’s coverage and look the best so I am curious whey did you choose the Husky ones as your favorite? You never really said what made you like them the best. Thanks!
Do your feet slide around on any of these mats?
WeatherTech is the best
What’s funny that he has 4 different floor mats and the carpet is very dirty
Great video man I would have selected the weather tech but I prefer the x contour thank you!
Husky looks better
For a review on floor mats to keep your interior clean, the carpet under the mats is filthy. Does that much stuff get underneath them?
Great job on the comparisons as answered all my questions. Thanks much for posting!
6 min mark you said the weather beat is the stiffer one . From other reviews I have seen they are saying the software one is weather beater and lays more flat. the x- contour I was told is closest to weather tech.
Husky #1
Wait till you have the WeatherTech for a few years then the corner start curling up and don’t quite fit as nice as they do when they’re new. I’ve had several WeatherTech mats and now I like husky much better. Husky holds their shape and don’t curl after a few years
WeatehrTech is garbage. I have had them in several vehicles and currently in my wife’s Denali. The edges curl up badly and you are constantly kicking them getting in and out of her truck. I installed the round sticky disc to keep them in place better. Well, my Detailer took the mat out to shampoo the carpet and that disc completely ate a hole into the carpet of her $80,000 truck. Meanwhile, I have the Husky Contours in my F150 for 6 years and they were FANTASTIC. I just traded my truck for a F350 Tremor and I will defiantly be buying the X-Contours again.
The huskys have fewer places for dirt to get stuck in and easier to clean material
Soo hard to decide; looked at 6 others and half are for the one of the others and half for Husky. I think subjectiveness still bears the weight of a review: type of car, preferences, specific needs/wants, etc. Thanks for reviewing.
the door sil coverage on weathertech is a big plus especially with wannabe luxury sedans that have glossy chrome door sils with company branding on them
I have the westherbeater in my wrx and they are just incredible if I’m comparing it to the oem floor mats lol. Love it
TUXMAT; all day every day 🤙🏼
I’m lost. Hundreds of dollars worth of mats and yet the floorboards look like chit … what am I missing here ..?
with the weather tech, do your feet squeak and slip when your feet are wet?
U must drop alot of drinks
It would be interesting to know how well or easy each mat cleans up.
I prefer husky. Only that my vehicle, a grand Cherokee, only takes the classic ones. It’s an 05.
No thank you they don’t grip on the bottom there just overpriced crappy aftermarket
The weatherbeaters are the best hands down
never said why he doesn’t like the last one
All I want is the product that collects the most liquid. The third one looks good to me.
Ok, but _why_ don’t you like the Weatherbeater?
Had weather tech for 2017 f250 platinum , they are OK often over priced , they will deform after a few years from heat and cold, now have the xact contour and I feel like they are better since they are more rubber like and will mold better. Also weather tech fades faster I didn’t like that
Where is the WeatherTech HP? Not a valid comparison
Husky sucks
I was a weathertech fan for years…..until my local store where i bought my topper talked me into trying Husky X-act for my 2018 F150. Weathertech is very good, but over time they will stain and are impossible to make them look new again. I went almost 2 years without cleaning my Husky mats, mud, dirt, rocks etc.(dont judge me 🙂 LOL ) The husky’s cleaned up and truly look like new with just dawn soap, water and a scrub brush.
Now I am leaning more towards Husky. Which one should I get if I rarely will get mud tracks and a lot of dirt. I don’t want to go too premium.
Are any easier to clean than others
Great video. Really helped me make my decision. Thanks.
REZAW PLAST is better
Husky 100%

I have the winter beater ones for my 2016 Focus and the driver side is letting water underneath it. The carpet is wet from snow melting and getting underneath the mat. Really disappointed with Husky on this one. The dead pedal is much better than weather tech but the point is to not let moisture on to the carpet.
Not all Husky floor liners have the flap that goes over the sill. I just received a pair, no flap, driver liner did not fit tight at back or on side against tunnel, and there was a bulge by the dead pedal. Holes were not punched out, had to cut with knife. They are being returned. Ordered smartliner.
I have the opposite opinion. I’ve had weather tech mats in my old cars but due to the plasticy materials once you get it dirty it never looks clean ever again. The plastic material shows every scratch and the only way to make it look clean again is to use tire shine which defeats the purpose.
Thanks for the video. It would be helpful for you to explain why you prefer one over the other, instead of just saying that.
I love my weather techs!
I own weathertech’s in a different truck.in mine and in most vehicles I’ve seen them in they don’t fit well. They usually end up with weird gaps near the trans hump and kick panel area. I tried heating mine to flare it out wider so it would be a tight correct fit but still didn’t help. I won’t buy them again I’ll probably go Husky or 3D maxspider. I have seen the maxspider in dozens of vehicles and they always fit great.
Doesn’t look like any of them do anything to help keep the carpet clean.
I have a set of the weather tech ones in my main vehicle but I thinking about getting these husky rubber ones for my truck. I find that the weather tech ones make the car sound a bit louder inside since it is so rigid. I really like the idea of a more maluable rubber mat that reflects and possibly deadens more sound.
