Changed a ton on these over the years.. now you install a plate in the engine bay where the shift cables and shifter arm meet up at the trans..

I got a cae ultra in my nb and its so great it was my first mod and my best by far i can totaly recomend it

I’ve owned several Miata’s and honestly never once thought… it takes a while to get from first to second gear. I want another Miata!

Did you notice you switched the heat insulation and boot positions? Original was under, the new one installed over the boot.
This may be a bit off topic but I have seen a lot of videos of people greasing up the fulcrum when changing their shifter bushings or turret oil, etc. Would you happen to know if that is necessary at all?

A question from a total newbie to modding- does the short shifter mess with your car’s tuning? Like, does it put my synchroniser out of synch?
