My battery is dead. When I put it on my charger it shows it’s at 100%. This guy says when it’s at 100% then take it off because it’s then fully charged. Makes no sense. Shouldn’t I charge it til there is no draw (close to zero percent)?
For 70 years people have been connecting battery chargers to the "negative" post on the battery. I would say that’s the proven method.
Nice video mate!!! Why not connect the negative lead? What would be the best kind of battery charger for 24/7 use to maintain a battery?
Hey looking for auto parts like batteries or other accessories? Then ecco.com.my Auto satisfies your requirement at the best value.
Excellent video Professor! Very helpful. Thank you.
i just want to know how many watts does it take to use a charger on 3 car batteries for when solar doesnt work as well.
I never got the whole on post vs grounded thing.research time lol
Red/Positive/Battery. Black/Negative/Frame or Block.
Take it from me, DO NOT let your neighbors, friends or family borrow your battery chargers. I could probably do a 15 minute monolog at TheMoth.org on this subject, but I’ll spare you the agony. Tell them go buy one and then close the door or hang up the phone. If you do, know you will forever remember my words….
Great thanks
Thanks for this video. There are SO many confusing and incorrect videos on this subject; but this one does the job. Thanks.
When I turned mine on for some reason, it starts at 100 instead of going from 0 to 100 it just sits at 100
Hi. Give the electric diagram of the device SCHUMACHER SE-1-12S, I burned the device.
great video. thank you😀
Ok it made me more confused when he said don’t connect the negative……
When putting the black charging cable on the frame/block, the Error/Trouble light comes on. When placing it on the Negative post of the battery, it works fine.
When jump starting, putting the black cable on the frame/block works.
Why does the charger require it to be on the battery and not on the frame/block???? I have two different chargers, and they both operate this way. I also have tried two different vehicles and they also require the charger be placed on the battery, not the frame/block.
Once the charger goes into maintenance mode; how long can you leave it there. Like overnight?
to ground it
this was almost a good video. The only problem is the first charger meter display was not explained fully. Where should the needle point when it’s fully charged?
Thank you!
Could leave the charger on board and always connected to the battery but not plugged in?
I found my problem thanks
I’m glad Santa Claus found another job.
Excellent video and right to the point! Thank you very much.
I don’t understand at all where the black connector should be attached. Does the battery have to be disconnected first?
Does this guy think he is Bob Wood
Your volume was very low, but content is great, Thanks for sharing.
thanks this is great
Does the positive charge connection without the negative charge apply to all chargers?
